Welcome to High Point Holidays' January Newsletter.
This month, we take a look at some of our new walking holidays in Brittany, along with our others on the Brittany peninsula.

Our re-designed Walking Holidays Brochures are available as hard copies on request but also available online (see below).
We are sorry that some of you may have decided to hold off on your holiday plans because of the uncertainty of Brexit, we totally sympathise with your concerns. We hope, as you do, that there will be some resolution or plan soon that will give some reassurances to travellers, at least in the short term. Fingers crossed!  Please don't hesitate to contact us, if we can help with your holiday plans for 2019.
Best wishes

Brittany's Granite Coast

The Brittany Coast

The peninsula of Brittany on the North West coast of France is a region defined not only by its geography but by its people, their traditions and their ancient celtic heritage.
Brittany's Granite Coast
9 nights - £880/€990 - 8 days walking between hotels & guest houses
The granite coast in Brittany is an outstanding coastline where pink boulders contrast with turquoise seas and fine sandy beaches. The GR34, a long distance coastal trail following a former coastguard footpath, winds among bizarrely shaped rocks interspersed with countless inlets, sandy coves and wonderful views. Other sections of this coast have wild and remote cliffs and peninsulas, dramatic estuaries and pretty fishing ports.
Brittany's Emerald Coast
6 nights - £725/€795 - 5 days walking between accommodation

The Emerald coast is home to some of Brittany’s most impressive coastlines, with dramatic rocky headlands jutting into the sea, enclosing picturesque coves of beautiful golden sand. Each day’s walk changes character from the opulent villas of Dinard and the fabulous historic walled town of St Malo to the wild heathland and stunning 70m cliffs of the Frehel Peninsula.
Pontsuval Brittany

Brittany's Coast of Legends NEW
Part 1: Roscoff to Aber Wrac'h
7 nights - £670/€735 - 6 days walking
Relatively easy walking takes you along a beautiful stretch of coastline with a multitude of tiny islands and rocky promontories, making it a place of numerous shipwrecks and legend.

Lighthouse Brittany
Part 2: Aber Wrac'h to Conquet or Brest
7/9 nights - From £825/€905 - 6/8 days
A beautiful and varied section of coast which is dissected by long estuaries or Abers. Starting with Aber Wrac'h, you'll go around two further estuaries as you head towards the western-most tip of Brittany.

New  - -  Walking  - -  Grades
Last year we made the decision, with the help of feedback from some of our walking holidays, to review our holiday grading. We have increased our grades from 4 to 5; Easy, Moderate, Moderate to Challenging, Challenging & Strenuous. Also when the walking grade falls between these classifications, a holiday may be graded at an intermediate level between the grades, for example Moderate +.
The new grades have now been rolled out across all our walking holidays both in our new brochure and on our website.
