How are the County Treasury's
investments performing?

The Treasury department provides banking and investing services to the County’s departments, community college, schools, and special districts. The Treasurer invests the revenue collected by these agencies in a diversity of securities that can be viewed in the Quarterly Portfolio Statistics report. The earnings from these securities are divided and allocated quarterly and can be viewed in the Interest Report. As of March 31, the Treasury has a balance of $291 million and maintains sufficient liquidity to meet the county’s daily expenditure needs.
