Understanding medicines

Paracetamol and ibuprofen factsheets

Health Navigator NZ has recently developed medicine factsheets for 2 commonly used pain medicines - Ibuprofen and paracetamol. The factsheets explain how to safely take each medicine and the importance of checking the ingredients of other medicines you are also taking. 

These are now available in Te Reo Māori, Samoan, Cook Islands Māori, Tongan, Niuean and English.

If medicines are not disposed of correctly, they can pollute the environment – especially our waterways. Find out how to safety dispose your unwanted medicines and medicine containers. Learn more.
