App reviews

New app reviews are being added to the Health App library on a regular basis. Recent additions include:
  • Kidney disease apps The use of mobile apps can support people with kidney disease to better manage their health by helping them to keep track of their medication and indicators such as blood pressure, weight, daily fluid intake and symptoms. Health Navigator have reviewed three apps and included 'a help me chose' section to help people review other kidney disease apps.
  • Graded motor imagery apps  Graded motor imagery is the process of training and re-training the brain and its many connections, and in this way can treat chronic pain. Health Navigator have reviewed two apps.
New app reviews are being added to the Health App library on a regular basis. If there are any categories that you would like added to the health app library email sandra@healthnavigator.org.nz
Search functionality added to Health App Library
A search function has been added to the Health App library so that users can search by category (such as asthma), use filters or sort for apps by category, price, device, New Zealand app and clinical score.

How Health Navigator can help you

The Health Navigator NZ website is designed to make this easy for your clinical teams to give patients and clients relevant NZ information and self-care resources.

You can print out topic sheets, or jot down other topic suggestions on our wallet cards for patients to review at home. We also have posters and recently updated DLE rack cards that are ideal for outpatient waiting room
