In this month’s health sector news we bring you information on our new COVID-19 positive – care in the community resources, as well as information on a quality improvement project to improve the wellbeing of Māori children aged 0–4 years who have eczema.

Improving eczema management and care at Hauora Heretaunga
Hauora Heretaunga developed a quality improvement project to improve the wellbeing of Māori children aged 0–4 years who suffer physically and emotionally with eczema. Among the whānau who took part, 84 percent achieved the goals they set for themselves. In addition, the number of presentations to a general practitioner (GP) with eczema flare decreased. Read more.
