Two of our students (a senior at American High and an 8th grader at Thornton Jr. High) and their family have been displaced from their home since their house was burned down this week. They have lost everything in the fire including their 2 dogs and 2 cars.
American Red Cross and the City of Fremont have been providing housing for the family of five for a few nights. American High and Thornton Junior High School have been collecting food, clothes, supplies and gift cards donated to the family. Please join their effort in bringing more relief to the family.
The family also needs a car and a place to rent hopefully by next Wednesday, 4/24/2014. If you or someone you know would like to donate a car, and/or have a house available for rent at around $2,000/month near American High / Thornton Jr. High School in North Fremont, please contact FUSS at firstname.lastname@example.org.
