Between January and March 2014, 242 Juniors and Seniors from 78 high schools throughout the Bay Area and beyond submitted essays to participate in the inspirational Culture to Culture Foundation's Mental Health Awareness Essay Contest. They answered the question “How does your personal definition of success affect your mental health?†from their personal experiences or observations. As one of the five humbled and honored judges, I learned a lot from each and everyone of them. If you are interested to know more about our high school students' struggles as well as how our parents and community could better support them at this critical stage of life, please join NAMI/ROLF family support group meeting, topic of the talk "Success vs. Mental Health." in youth.
