Greetings, friends! I want to give you a glimpse into what I'm working on today and this week. So, in no particular order, here's my to-do list:
  • Finish The Mending story
  • Finish and title this 16"x20" painting
  • Varnish and title this 10"x10" painting
  • Start two more paintings (that may or may not include sunsets)
  • Do several sketches for a freelance book cover job
  • Start Emma and the Fox story

Next week I'm headed to Denver for the show in Cheesman Park. Here are the other shows I'm in this year:

SEPTEMBER:
OMAHA, NE: Rockbrook Village Art Fair - September 7-8 (free admission)

OCTOBER:
FRANKLIN, TN: Hutchmoot - October 10-13 (Closed Conference)

NOVEMBER:
ALBUQUERQUE, NM: Rio Grande Arts & Crafts Festival - November 29-December 1 ($8 admission)
 

New Paintings 


Here are a couple new pieces that have made their way into the world since last newsletter.

Sebastian and Maximilian and Penelope
On July 8th we added Penelope Jane to the family. She arrived at 5:14pm, weighing in at 6.5 lbs and measuring 18.5 inches. I almost missed the birth because, you know, the sewer backed up that morning and I thought I had plenty of time. Both mom and Penny are doing well. Here she is!
