PGA of America has created a plan whereby PGA Members that participate in programs that meet specified performance objectives can earn a contribution towards a deferred compensation fund. Sikula Appointed Director of Golf at Sleepy Hollow CC
|
|
|
AJ Sikula, former Head Golf Professional at the Inverness Club in Ohio, has been appointed Director of Golf at Sleepy Hollow Country Club. Sikula replaces long time Sleepy Hollow Head Professional, David Young, who retired after the 2022 season. Sikula, the 2021 Northern Ohio Section PGA Professional of the Year, served under J.J. Weaver, Inverness’ Director of Golf, who is the Co-Head Professional at Augusta National Golf Club. His immense experience, infectious energy and natural leadership ability will continue to enhance the tradition and reputation of Sleepy Hollow as a whole.

Met PGA Compensation Survey
|
|
We have restructured our Met PGA Compensation Survey to a digital platform for ease of use, updating some of the terminology in the process. As you will see, we are also gathering data about golf operations budget and total rounds to create some comparables regarding service levels.
PGA Members earn 1 PDR for completing the survey and an additional 1 PDR for opting into the PGA of America survey.

PGA Financial Assistance Fund Scholarship
|
|
The deadline to apply for The PGA Financial Assistance Fund Scholarship is April 10, 2023.
Scholarship Eligibility Requirements
Students must have at least a 3.4 cumulative GPA, be a child or grandchild of a PGA Member in good standing, and who hasn’t exceeded the limit of two scholarships during undergraduate studies. Scholarships are not available for graduate students.
