The second Winter Education Series seminar will feature Executive Director of the Metropolitan PGA, Jeff Voorheis who will be joined by PGA Career Consultant, Jonathan Gold. They will present and discuss possible staffing solutions for the upcoming 2022 season.
Jonathan Gold helps golf industry and PGA Professionals advance into higher level employment opportunities including general management roles and non-traditional career paths; assists employers throughout the hiring process; promotes the immeasurable benefits of employing a qualified professional and provides resources for individuals seeking to gain employment in the golf industry.

PGA Show Preperation

PGA Members Kirk Oguri, Katie Wiedmar and Sam Wiley, along with Marc Simon from PGA Golf Exhibitions, will present on how to prepare for the PGA Show to ensure a positive experience and what you can expect in Orlando, Florida.
Kirk Oguri joined Pete’s Golf Shop in 2011 and is a competitive player, golf instructor and club fitter. He has helped golfers from Tour players, local PGA professionals, top amateurs to novices find the best golf equipment that matches their specific games.
Marc Simon, a member of the PGA Show management team since 1998, is the Event Vice President, who oversees the PGA Merchandise Show.

Sean Quinlivan has accepted the Head Golf Professional position at Shinnecock Hills, succeeding Jack Druga who will now be working as the PGA Ambassador for the Evans Scholarship Program.
John Morrison has been named the PGA Head Professional at Lawrence Village Yacht & Country Club after the recent departure of Peter Procops.
Kevin Loftus is the new PGA Head Professional at Indian Hills Country Club, taking over for Aaron Mueller who is returning to Nassau CC as the Head Professional alongside Director of Golf Drew Pohalski.
Paul Kenney has been elevated to the Head Professional position after the retirement of Jerry Yochum after his 32 year tenure at Rockrimmon Country Club.
Dan Sposato was selected as the Head Professional at Colonial Springs GC after the departure of Bill Bresnan who will be working at Birdies, a new indoor facility in Patchogue, NY.
