After reaching the top four PGA Assistant players of the year for 2021, Scott Ford and Dylan Newman won a complimentary trip to Ireland to play some of the best courses Ireland has to offer – Royal Co. Down, Portmarnock Golf Club, The Island and Royal Dublin.
As proud sponsors of the PGA Met Section for over five years, Travelling the Fairways hosted the winners in Dublin last week who brought along their wives Susan and Carly to share in the experience. The weather forecast for the trip looked ominous but as the luck of the Irish would have it, the clouds cleared, and the stunning views were complimented with clear blue skies.

Nick Yaun, former Head Professional at Brae Burn Country Club, has been appointed the new Head Professional at Century Country Club. Yaun replaces well-renowned PGA Head Professional, Nelson Long, who will be retiring after his 47th season at Century. Best wishes to Nelson in retirement and congratulations to Nick Yaun on his transition.

Brian Giordano has accepted the Head Golf Professional position at Siwanoy after serving four years as Head Professional at Westchester Hills. Brian replaces Grant Turner, who is retiring after 26 years at Siwanoy.
