Event Rundown
- Individuals or teams of 2 (scramble) attempt to make as many birdies as possible in 72 holes
- Proceeds will benefit the Metropolitan Section Foundation, the Cohen Children's Medical Center, and Maria Fareri Children's Hospital
- Donations will be raised on a per birdie made basis
- Any Assistant who raises $1,000 or more for the Met PGA Foundation qualifies for the third tier of the Assistants Championship in September

As a courtesy extended by the USGA, for the 2022 U.S. Open, PGA Members will be admitted on a daily basis and will receive one (1) complimentary gallery ticket upon presentation of the PGA membership card for the current year. This includes the following classifications ONLY: Class A PGA Members, Life Members, and Master Professional Members only; this offer is not extended to other Member classifications, Associates or PGA Golf Management University Students.

The PGA membership card itself does not serve as a ticket, but rather a right to request a ticket at Will Call. In addition to their PGA membership card, PGA Members must provide an additional form of identification (such as a drivers’ license). Tickets must be obtained at Will Call on the day of the Championship; no tickets will be distributed in advance of the event. The spouse or guest of a PGA/LPGA member is NOT granted complimentary or discounted admission to the U.S. Open.

Met PGA Compensation Survey
We have restructured our Met PGA Compensation Survey to a digital platform for ease of use, updating some of the terminology in the process. As you will see, we are also gathering data about golf operations budget and total rounds to create some comparables regarding service levels.
PGA Members earn 1 MSR for completing the survey and an additional 1 MSR for opting into the PGA of America survey.

Eric Feltman Memorial - "Tee it Up For Eric"
|
|
|
It's almost impossible to believe that almost two and a half years have passed since we lost Eric Feltman, 23-year PGA Head Professional at Engineers CC, to pancreatic cancer. What isn't hard to believe is the success that Eric's family and friends, led by wife Julie Feltman and friend Dr. Len Stein, have had in conducting a premier golf event remembering Eric and benefiting pancreatic cancer research. The third annual "Tee it Up for Eric" Memorial Golf Outing will be played on Monday August 8th at Meadow Brook Club. Though the afternoon shotgun is sold out, there are still a few openings in the morning. Additionally, the Eric Feltman Memorial Foundation is still gathering fundraising items like foursomes at area clubs and lessons with PGA Professionals.
