PGA of America has created a plan whereby PGA Members that participate in programs that meet specified performance objectives can earn a contribution towards a deferred compensation fund. Looking Back...at the Metropolitan PGA

In the middle of the 1950’s, the world of golf was on the brink of tremendous growth and change: A young second generation Professional out of Western Pennsylvania had won his first two PGA Tour events, there was a popular President in the White House who loved the game, and three major television networks were jousting to see who would beam these contests into the nation's baby boom living rooms. Among that growth and change, three PGA professionals with strong ties to the Met Section would have a dramatic impact on the 1956 season.

Dominick has a vast professional Fitting knowledge from working in a similar role with a competitor as well as in retail with PGATSS. Met PGA Compensation Survey
|
|
We have restructured our Met PGA Compensation Survey to a digital platform for ease of use, updating some of the terminology in the process. As you will see, we are also gathering data about golf operations budget and total rounds to create some comparables regarding service levels.
PGA Members earn 1 PDR for completing the survey and an additional 1 PDR for opting into the PGA of America survey.

PGA Financial Assistance Fund Scholarship
|
|
The deadline to apply for The PGA Financial Assistance Fund Scholarship is April 10, 2023.
Scholarship Eligibility Requirements
Students must have at least a 3.4 cumulative GPA, be a child or grandchild of a PGA Member in good standing, and who hasn’t exceeded the limit of two scholarships during undergraduate studies. Scholarships are not available for graduate students.
