Dear Friends,
The good folks at Climate Emergency Forum had me on for a series of programs they call Climate Change Under US Law.
In their Climate Change Under U.S. Law - Part 1, we discuss CPR Initiative's campaign urging the President to impose a rising fee on oil, gas and coal, using existing law. That would jump-start a serious US response to the climate crisis.
In Climate Change Under U.S. Law - Part 2, we discuss CPR Initiative's Petition to EPA urging it, again under existing law, to both phase out fossil fuel emissions and to compel the industry to remove (or pay to remove) the overburden of legacy atmospheric greenhouse gases for which they are responsible. This would help cool the planet.
We appreciate Climate Emergency Forum's thoughtfulness, creativity, professionalism and generosity.
