Brae Burn Country Club will host our Annual Met PGA Spring Meeting on Monday, April 10th to kick off the start of the golf season!

In addition to conducting association business including plans and goals for the upcoming season, the Spring Meeting is an opportunity for members of the Metropolitan Section to interact with representatives from our Partner and Sponsor companies, whose support fuels our activities and operations. At the conclusion of the membership meeting, the Partner companies will be introduced, and those representatives will enjoy a luncheon among Section members prior to our opening golf event where partner engagement will continue on the golf course.

PGA of America Introduces Member Deferred Compensation Program

PGA of America has created a plan whereby PGA Members that participate in programs that meet specified performance objectives can earn a contribution towards a deferred compensation fund. This is now an accessible vehicle to accumulate wealth towards a more comfortable retirement. Click the button below to learn more on the program and to sign up!

Dave Fusco Appointed General Manager at Osiris

After opening the golf course and spending the last 20 years successfully developing Patriot Hills Golf Club into one of the preeminent public golf courses in the area, Dave Fusco has resigned from the Town of Stony Point. He will be immediately moving on to his next project, representing new ownership at Osiris Country Club as their PGA General Manager.

Met PGA Compensation Survey

We have restructured our Met PGA Compensation Survey to a digital platform for ease of use, updating some of the terminology in the process. As you will see, we are also gathering data about golf operations budget and total rounds to create some comparables regarding service levels.

PGA Members earn 1 PDR for completing the survey and an additional 1 PDR for opting into the PGA of America survey.

Complimentary Access to the 2023 Masters Tournament

As a courtesy extended by Augusta National Golf Club, Class A PGA Members, Life Members and Master Professional Members only may receive complimentary daily access to the 2023 Masters Tournament. Learn more here.

PGA Financial Assistance Fund Scholarship

The deadline to apply for The PGA Financial Assistance Fund Scholarship is April 10, 2023.

Scholarship Eligibility Requirements
Students must have at least a 3.4 cumulative GPA, be a child or grandchild of a PGA Member in good standing, and who hasn’t exceeded the limit of two scholarships during undergraduate studies. Scholarships are not available for graduate students.
