Fort Buford and Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center to Host Public Programs in July
WILLISTON – The public is invited to these free upcoming events at the Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center and Fort Buford State Historic Site.
July 2-3, 2016
Scrapbooking at the Confluence, 9 a.m. - 4 p.m.
July 15-17, 2016
Sixth Infantry Encampment with historical presentations daily. 2 p.m. military drill demonstration, 2:30 p.m. cannon demonstration, 3 p.m. telegraph demonstration, 7 p.m. dance featuring Sunrise Brass, period attire suggested.
July 17, 2016
Concert at the Confluence, 7 p.m. The public is invited to a concert featuring Chokecherry Jam at the Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center.
July 21, 2016
Fort Buford History Book Club, 7 p.m. Join history buffs in a discussion of this month's selected book. Free refreshments. Please call in advance, 701.572.9034.
The Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center is located 22 miles southwest of Williston at Fort Buford State Historic Site. Fort Buford State Historic Site summer hours are daily from 9 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. Central Time. The Missouri-Yellowstone Confluence Interpretive Center is open daily from 9 a.m. to 6 p.m.
