Due to Monday's Federal Holiday, curbside trash and recycling pickup will be on Saturday (not tomorrow)!
PLEASE don't put your trash or recycling curbside before Friday @ 5:30pm.

Location: Riverside Hall, 916 S. Swanson Street
Refreshments are served, and attendees are welcome to BYOB. This event is free, but donations are appreciated to help defray costs. 
Sat, June 25th:  Sommerfest Block Party
700 Block of South St:  11am - 8pm (pay as you go)
Live music and performances by the United German Hungarian Dance group, a ceremonial keg tapping, a raffle filled with amazing prizes to raise money to support various Ukrainian organizations, face-painting, flower crowns, and of course plenty of German food and drink! 

Tues, June 28th:  Woofstock @ 5:30-7:30
Location: Seger DogPark,10th & Rodman streets

Woofstock is a free family-friendly event presented by Seger Dog Park every Tuesday through August 7.
Sat, June 28th:  KidFest Firetruck Night @7pm
Location: Mario Lanza Park, 200 block Catharine St.

See a firetruck!  Wear a swimsuit and get sprayed by the hose! 
KidsFest is free. (Donations are happily accepted.)
Sponsored by community volunteers: Friends of Mario Lanza Park.

Community Evening Resource Center
Location:  Dixon House, 1920 S. 20th Street
Any young person or family who needs a safe space is welcome at Dixon House. Remember: Philly's new curfew law is in place!
  • 16-17 years: midnight
  • 14-15 years: 10pm
  • 13 years and younger: 9:3pm
