Public Invited to Chateau de Mores Easter Egg Hunt

MEDORA, N.D. — The public is invited to the annual Harry Roberts Memorial Easter Egg Hunt on Saturday, April 15, at 11 a.m. at Chimney Park in Medora. This event, sponsored by the State Historical Society of North Dakota, is free and open to children 12 and under. All children must be accompanied by an adult. The Easter egg hunt will be postponed one week in case of inclement weather.

The French nobleman and entrepreneur, the Marquis de Mores, came west in 1883 and made his home at what is now Chateau de Mores State Historic Site. Featured are an interpretive center with exhibits, a museum store, the original chateau and out-buildings, and tours.
