600 Years of the Universe Through Glass

Astronomy and History enthusiast,
Dave Berman 1201 will delight the club with a fast-paced presentation about the evolution of the telescope.

This presentation:
Will include a detailed display and historically accurate replica of the telescope of Gallileo himself, plus an Alvan Clark telescope of historical significance.

Who knows?
Gallileo himself, may show up to give a first hand account of his invention that shook the world of science and religion.

Galileo (Hint: 1205) may show up. You do not want to miss this dynamic, fun and informative presentation.
Dave Berman, 1201, has owned and restored telescopes of all types since 1973, with an avid interest in antique telescopes. Dave is a member of the Antique Telescope Society and the Orange County Astronomers Club.
