Due to the unprecedented COVID-19 pandemic, serving patients remotely is no longer a matter of convenience, it has become imperative for telehealth stakeholders, organizations and providers alike to understand and provide care in a safe and secure manner. However, due to the rapid increase in demand for telemedicine as a result of COVID-19, questions have continuously been brought up regarding key policy changes and changes in payment and reimbursement across geographically diverse telehealth programs.
