Preparing for Power of Choice

 

Power of Choice (PoC) reforms are scheduled to commence December 1, 2017 and we are in the final stages of ensuring we are prepared for PoC go live.

We are committed to ensuring that you are prepared and that you understand how the changes we will make to our systems will impact you and your business.

Below is important information you need to be aware of concerning our Electrical Partners Portal.
 

Energex Electrical Partners Portal Planned Outage


To ensure we are PoC ready we have scheduled a planned outage of our Electrical Partners Portal to undertake necessary maintenance from midnight Thursday 30th November to midnight Sunday 3rd December.
 
Messaging will appear on the portal to advise of this outage.
 
We apologise in advance for any inconvenience this may cause you and your staff.
 
Please do not hesitate to contact us should you require any further information regarding this.
 

Completing Requests Before December 1


Due to PoC changes that prevent Energex from installing meters for requests received after December 1, our field crews will be completing additional work on weekends for the remainder of November.

To help ensure we complete outstanding metering requests prior to December 1, we may need to contact you on a Saturday or Sunday to arrange a technical appointment or to discuss your work request.
 
We understand that not all electrical contractors work weekends, and you may not be available to take our call, however we appreciate your cooperation in advance.
