Dr. Paul Kurdyak has been appointed as the new co-Director, Division of Adult Psychiatry and Health Systems, effective September 1, 2018.
If you are considering submitting an application to the Post-MD Medical Humanities Education Matching Fund, please be aware that all prospective applicants must submit their proposals for internal review in order to be considered for matching funds by the Department of Psychiatry. Please submit your applications to admin.psych@utoronto.ca by September 24th, 2018 at MIDNIGHT. The Department will notify successful applicants by October 5th, 2018 in order to facilitate their October 15th, 2018 submission to the Post MD Program.

Awards & Honours


International/National

Dr. Sagar Parikh, leading a team including Trehani Fonseka, Andrew Kcomt and Janice Pong, has been awarded the Paula Goering Collaborative Researh and Knowledge Translation Award, which recognizes an innovative researcher–knowledge user collaborative project in the area of mental health and addictions from across Canada. The award recognizes the creation of the CHOICE-D Patient and Family Guide to Depression Treatment.
