TETRAMAX Newsletter, August 2018

Dear colleague,

I am glad to announce that the first Technology Transfer Experiments (TTX) resulting from our open calls have been kicked off  at partner institutions and SMEs across Europe. These TTX are financially supported by TETRAMAX under the H2020 “cascading funding” model. As an example, in this newsletter we briefly highlight EVErMORE, a promising TTX on highly energy efficient IoT devices.

You find more information about our entire TTX program at tetramax.eu. This also includes further TTX calls that will open shortly, as briefly described below. If you plan for a cross-border tech transfer with your partners, or you consider materializing your latest R&D results via a spin-off company, do not hesitate to send a short proposal. The TETRAMAX team provides individual consulting and guarantees fast turn-round times.

Further important news include the official recognition of TETRAMAX as a Digital Innovation Hub by the EC, as well as an increasing amount of community events, especially in the new EU member states and candidate countries.

We are also looking forward to hosting our Industrial Advisory Board in September in Aachen
for its first annual meeting with all project partners.

Best wishes!
Rainer Leupers

TETRAMAX now on the DIH online catalogue

From now on, TETRAMAX can be found on the Digital Innovation Hubs (DIH) tool, which is part of the Smart Specialisation Platform of the European Commission, facilitating European cooperation and the creation of partnerships among various actors throughout Europe. This DIH tool is an online catalogue which contains comprehensive information on digital innovation hubs in Europe. The ultimate purpose of the tool is to help companies get access to competences needed in order to digitize their products and services. The catalogue will give European DIHs a platform to network with each other, other innovation support organisations and companies, in order to communicate their expertise.
