Team Anna Victorious and owners of The Harrow Little Bedwyn, Roger and Sue Jones, invite you to a special Sunday lunch on Mother’s Day, Sunday 22nd March 2020.
With the restaurant sold out until they close at the end of March, this is the last opportunity to dine at The Harrow with all proceeds going to Victoria’s Promise.
Victoria’s Promise are a charity who support and empower young women, and their families, through the challenges of cancer treatment.
This is part of the fundraising campaign for Team Anna Victorious. Adam, Rob, Jack and Ed will row 3000 miles across the Atlantic Ocean in the Talisker Whisky Atlantic Challenge 2021.
This epic journey is inspired by Ed’s wife Anna who died from bowel cancer in 2018.
Here are a few words from Ed
“In June 2017 I was on holiday with my wife, Anna, and our 6 month old daughter, Alba. Anna started to feel unwell and a short time after was diagnosed with bowel cancer at the age of 37. A year later, on 7th June 2018, Anna tragically lost her battle with cancer. She was 38 years old. We had only been married for 10 days. Alba was only 18 months old.”
Anna was remarkable during her diagnosis and throughout her life. She inspired and continues to inspire people every day and is now the inspiration behind Team Anna Victorious as they prepare for the world’s most dangerous row.
There will be an English Sparkling Wine Reception starting at 12 noon followed by a 6 course Gourmet Menu matched by specially selected wines from The Harrow’s Award Winning Wine Cellar. Tickets are for sale at a minimum donation of £100.00 with 100% going to charity. Ed and the Team will be on hand on the day not only topping up your wines but giving you a full in depth report on their training and the challenges ahead for them.
