Winter  2021 (Almost Spring!)
Welcome to Granite City Folk Society's virtual concert season.
We can't get together in a physical space for a while, so we're supporting a series of on-line concerts.
Our artists will be performing via streaming services, some from their own homes--a new
kind of close-up music, even if we're all over the continent.
Streaming platforms will vary, so note the links for the individual events.

There is no ticketing for these performances,
but the artists will be operating their own virtual tip jars.
Be generous--we're all running on fumes these days.

All shows are on Thursdays at 7:30 to 8:30 PM CST.

Jillian Rae (Duo)
Thurs, Apr 15. 7:30

Singer-songwriter-fiddler (and violinist, another useful distinction), session player, accompanist, soloist, bandleader. . . . There's going to be something for everyone in there.

"Jillian Rae draws on a wide array of genres in her music--country, folk, blues and even allegedly, polka. . . . 'Heartbeat' is an unabashedly hooky toe-tapper. It's also an artfully constructed song--most notably due to Rae's deftly played violin that sounds primarily bluegrassy but also dips unexpectedly into an Eastern European-influenced sound as well." --Jon Behm, Reviler

Special thanks go out to our season sponsors, GrandStay Residential Suites, Bo Diddley’s Deli, and CMAB for their generous support.

GrandStay provides first class overnight accommodations for our musician guests.

BoDiddley’s Provides food & beverage for our musicians and an intimate setting for 90% of our concerts.

Donations are tax deductible and offer donor recognition & thanks. This is not a profitable enterprise. Our ticket sales typically do not quite cover musician compensation, much less printing, advertising, theater rental, insurance, etc., etc. We have in recent years been fortunate to receive modest grants to help defray expenses, we have received in-kind donations from our season sponsors, and we have also enjoyed increasing support from patrons such as yourself. Collectively, these are the pieces of the financial puzzle that keep our boat afloat. Please consider a donation. Any amount is greatly appreciated and is tax deductible.
