DIR Releases 2016 Legislative Digest
California's Department of Industrial Relations Office of the Director produced their 2016 Legislative Digest which describes bills that were chaptered or vetoed during the second half of the 2015/2016 Legislative Session that would have an impact on California's employer/ees. Chaptered bills went into effect on January 1, 2017 unless they contained an urgency clause or the measure specified a different effective date.
Although all of the bills may not be applicable to California's risk sharing pools, CAJPA wanted to provide you with this comprehensive DIR legislative overview.
Please mark your calendars.  The Executive meeting is March 30th, and the Board meeting is May 25, 2017.
ERMA has added their "ERMA Quick Reference Guide" to their website. We can also forward to you their 2016 Biannual Letter.
