SOCIAL ENTERPRISE AND THE COMMUNITY SECTOR FORUM

Hosted by: Inclusive NZ and The Akina Foundation

Thinking about how to diversify your organisation’s income streams?  Wondering if social enterprise is the right option? 
This interactive forum is designed specifically for community organisations.  You will have the opportunity to:

  • Unpack and explore your questions about social enterprise 
  • Hear the experiences of others who have embarked on the social enterprise journey. 
  • Learn about how to go about starting and running a social enterprise.
Cost 
Inclusive NZ Members: $75.00 + GST
Non-Members: $100 + GST


Lunch
There are a number of great cafes around the CQ Hotel where you can have lunch.  If you would prefer we can order lunch for you at the CQ Hotel at an additional cost of $29.00.  Please indicate this option on your registration form.
 
Accommodation
A limited number of rooms are being held at CQ Hotels for those of you who are staying over for both Forums.  The discounted rates are:
Comfort Hotel:  $127 per night, including Express Breakfast
Quality Hotel: $197 per night.

LEADERSHIP FORUM
Hosted by: Inclusive NZ
Date: Wednesday 15 March
Time: 9am to 4pm
Venue: CQ Hotel, 223 Cuba Street, Wellington

                               
An interactive day for those leading employment and community support services for disabled people.  It will focus on the core components we deal with as leaders in a changing environment: organisational culture and strategic direction.
 
The Forum will include:
  • Feedback from government and sector leaders on the strategic issues provider organisations should be considering
  • Ideas and tools for stakeholder and community engagement.
  • An afternoon workshop run by Darren Ward (Direct Impact Group) which will explore the question "Is culture more important than strategy for your organisation's survival?"
Darren is a Managing Partner with Direct Impact Group.  He has extensive experience working with civil society organisations around the world, helping them to develop the right strategies to deliver the results they seek.
 
Cost    
Inclusive NZ Full and Individual members: $55 + GST
Inclusive NZ Associate Members: $70 + GST
Non-members: $85 + GST
