Tuesday 28 February - course now sold out!

Propagation Workshop  -  Budding and Grafting - Royal Botanic Gardens Edinburgh

Whip and Side Veneer Grafting and Chip Budding will be practiced at this workshop, plus reviewing the reasons for using different grafting techniques.  Peter MacDonald (Vice-President of IPPS) and Andrew Lear are the facilitators for this event, who will no doubt, report back on how this event went and update with images.


Further SGC meetings

A visit to the Hepworth Brewery Tour is being arranged for March plus a visit to the Plumpton Winery Centre in October.  Details of both will be made available nearer the time.

Visit to Cheviot Trees Nursery and Pentland Plant Trials

Cheviot Trees are one of Europe’s largest and most experienced producers of cell grown trees.  Established for over 25 years, they grow a diverse range of trees, shrubs, conifers and wetland plants from a wide selection of seed sources.  More details here.  Booking forms will be available soon.




2017 Membership Subscription Renewal  -  Important Notice

All members will shortly receive a notification email from the International Board, advising that IPPS Memberships will expire on 01.01.2017. All IPPS regions are now managed by the International Board, hence the new website.  Should you experience difficulties, please email Graham or Nina at admin@ippseurope.org.
