Happy Diving!
How to Think Like a Diver...

Learning how to dive for the first time opens up a whole new world of possibilities... or technically 70% more of the world. But Open Water Diver is only the beginning. Diving is a sport (don't let anyone tell you otherwise!) and like any sport, it takes training and practice to be the best. Make it your goal this year to do more than just go diving. It's time to start thinking like a diver. Not sure what I mean? Read what some of our students say thinking like a diver means to them:

"I strive to not only be a good diver, but a safe diver.  The additional training I have received has helped me to improve in both areas.  I believe there is always room for improvement and improvement comes with training, practice, and experience.  For example..." (read more here)

"There is a clear distinction between knowing how to dive and being a good diver. A good diver is constantly aware of everything that’s going on around you on the dive; from proper planning and preparation for the dive to perhaps the most important skill of all, being able to stay calm under a stressful situation. Diving is..." (read more here)

Rescue Diver
New Dates Just Announced!

The PADI Rescue Diver course is one of our most popular and many divers will tell you it's the best (and most fun) course they have taken. Safe diving practices and being able to react calmly in stressful situations are invaluable skills in diving and in life. The Rescue Diver course teaches you emergency prevention, recognition, and management so that you can be a better diver for yourself and your dive buddy. Any Adventure Diver or higher can participate in the rescue course which consists of one night of classroom work, one night of confined water training in the pool, and two days of open water dives. Check out the schedule below for our 2017 class dates.

DON'T FORGET THE EFR!

The Rescue Diver certification requires a current (within 24 months) CPR & First Aid certification. We offer the Emergency First Response program on the first Monday and Tuesday of every month (starts at 6pm). And guess what?

It's not just for divers!

The
EFR program is open to anyone who is interested and there is no age limit (though they have to be able to complete the skills). Extend your safety with friends, family, and coworkers and learn life saving techniques you can apply in any situation. Great for lifeguards, babysitters, parents, and everyone else in between!
