Delivery update

Hello Fairphoner, 

We recently sent you an email to let you know that the delivery of your Fairphone 2 was delayed. We now have a better picture of the situation, and can tell you more about the underlying issues.

The indigo case is the most popular color at the moment, and we ran out of stock much faster than the other colors. Despite exploring different options, we were unable to find a practical way to speed up delivery. For example, we wanted to allow customers to change the color of their case, but quickly realized this wouldn’t have any impact on the final delivery date.

New indigo covers cases are being produced right now by our manufacturing partner Broadway. We expect them to arrive soon, and are still on track to deliver your order by the end of this month. You will receive an email with a tracking number as soon as your phone order leaves our distribution center. 

We’d like to thank everyone who reached out to us to request more information. And we’ll keep working to make our communications as clear as possible from the beginning. If we receive any more news about this issue in the coming weeks, we’ll be sure to inform you right away.
