Twenty years ago, on an especially dark and stormy summer night, FULGUR was born. To celebrate our birthday I am delighted to announce a completely new website for the company, developed by Kaitlin Reeves of FORM & FUNCTION. FULGUR ESOTERICA refines our founding principles and supports our continued initiative to represent esoteric artists working within the genre. With this aim in mind, I am delighted to now be representing Francesco Parisi, Denis Forkas Kostromitin and Peter Dyde. Each of these artists has a commitment to producing work of exceptional quality, and we have several extraordinary projects in progress that will be announced over the coming months.

In addition to these great individual talents, I am also delighted to be working with NOKO. Many of you will be familiar with NOKO through their performances at the Equinox Festival (London, 2009) and the Esoteric Book Conference (Seattle, 2010), but since this time they have also gone on to critical acclaim in Australia, where they are based. A blend of haunting visuals (Michael Strum), rich soundscapes (Scott Barnes) and ritual performance (Barry William Hale) NOKO are taking occult performance art into an entirely new and contemporary space. It is important work, and we are delighted to support their endeavours. Indeed, we can promise something extraordinary from NOKO in 2013.

You will also see from the details below that we have released news of a bibliography of past titles. This will be available in early October, but pre-ordering is now open. On Saturday August 11th, at 3.21pm GMT, we will also be holding an XX-Series sale. More details may be found below, or on our website at the appointed moment.

The last twenty years have been an extraordinary journey for FULGUR. From slow beginnings in the pre-internet age, to working with some of the most important names in the esoteric genre. This has only been possible due to the incredible and consistent support of our loyal readership. As always, thank you.

FULGUR: A Bibliography

On August 9th, 1992, FULGUR was born. Our founding principles were simple; to revive and develop Aleister Crowley’s philosophy of the book as a talismanic object; to champion quality and longevity in book design, and moreover, to celebrate and promote magical artists such as Austin Osman Spare. To celebrate our birthday this book briefly discusses the strange circumstances surrounding the formation of the company, offers context for our development, and provides a full bibliography of our titles from 1992-2012...
XX-Series Sale

As part of our 20th birthday celebrations we will be offering a very select stock of past titles that are now out of print. These copies are either ex-series, or slightly substandard, and will be priced accordingly. Due to the very limited numbers, purchases are limited to one copy of each title per customer. In some instances we have less than 10 examples available. The XX-Series Sale will begin at 3.21pm GMT on Saturday August 11th.
