- ¡Vamos osos! -

We create a learning experience that values children, language, culture, and community.
We challenge our students to learn, grow, give back to our world, and be confident explorers in life.
We invite your family to be part of our school family.
Western Gateway community,

Opening a school in the midst of a pandemic while creating and implementing new systems and operations has been challenging. We certainly couldn’t have done it without the outpouring of support from the community, especially as our first year of operation continues into 2022.

As the first dual-language and cross-cultural elementary school in Oklahoma City, we believe it’s important to celebrate our differences. Our community is growing, and we’re hopeful about the new adventures and memories this year will bring.

Our Osos are rising to the challenge and excelling in our bilingual curriculum. We continue to be inspired by their passion and commitment to becoming culturally well-rounded learners.

We’re especially grateful for our donors who have helped us reach our goals. Support from our families and community helps us provide quality education for students and engage them to be mindful, independent thinkers. If you’d like to help support our mission, please consider donating to the school or directly funding special projects for Western Gateway teachers. You can make a difference by contributing to an art station for our students to channel their creativity or help teachers provide products to protect against germs.

Sincerely,
Heather Zacarias
Head of School
