A few words about this week's run

As runners, we often talk about personal bests. I believe that we can truly push our abilities in the interest of a team, knowing that others depend on us. This weekend, we will have the chance to truly be our best as we compete against 10 to 15 other teams for the fastest group marathon. I hope you'll join us for the 3rd Annual 26 x 1 Marathon Relay. Details are below.

Upcoming Run Sport Events

You can check out everything that's coming up at the website, but here's what's brand new...

The 26 x 1 Mile Marathon Relay is right around the corner (May 17th at 10am) and it's going to be the biggest race we've ever put on, with around 200 runners expected to turn out. There's going to be running, beer and cooking, and even a few adoptable dogs accompanying the Monster Milers team. You definitely won't want to miss this event.

Wissahickon Wanderers Spring Trail Race Series is back! Run in one or more of the FREE informal trail races (organized by the Wissahickon Wanderers) the last four Thursday evenings in May: May 8, 15, 22, 29 starting at 6:30 from Valley Green Inn. The distances range generally from three to five miles through the woods of the Wissahickon and along Forbidden Drive. The trail series races are FREE and open to absolutely everyone.
