A Tribute To Virgil Howe (1975 - 2017)

All of the Outpost team were deeply saddened this week to hear of the death of our friend Virgil Howe at age 41. Virgil was one of our launch clients through Scenario Records in 2005, when we promoted his band The Killer Meters. A few other releases followed, including 'Sparo World' and a couple of years later, Virgil become the first signing to our own sister label, 3 Bar Fire, with 'The Falling' and 'Someday'. In recent years, Virgil became the drummer in Little Barrie, and he was about to embark on a UK tour with them. There is no doubt, Virgil was a legendary character who will not be forgotten. We send our sincerest condolences to all Virgil's family and friends.
