High Ridge Library Partners to Bring Slam Poet to Three SVVSD High Schools

 Slam Poet Champion, Joaquin Zihuatanejo, visited 3 area high schools courtesy of the High Plains Library system. Students learned about writing from their own life experiences and were offered a writer's workshop with Mr. Zihuatanejo. The High Plains Library system is a community partner that provides literacy and community educational supports for free to the area and is available to all students on their iPads through Overdrive.
