In recent years, particularly after the COVID-19 pandemic, museums and memory institutions made a significant switch to accelerate their use of digital content and new technologies. Even though strategies may differ substantially or evolve through time, digital is very much embedded in everything that defines a museum in the 21st century.
For this webinar, we have invited four specialists to share their experiences and opinions through the work they do at museums and memory institutions with wide-ranging collections and based on different institutional settings. Panelists:

  • Heba Hage-Felder, Director, Arab Image Foundation, Beirut, Lebanon

  • Raphaël Guyard, Coordinator of Historias Platform, Museo de Arte de Lima – MALI, Lima, Peru

  • Anna Ramos, Head of Radio Web MACBA, Museu d'Art Contemporani de Barcelona, Spain

  • Bart De Baere, Director of M HKA, the Museum of Contemporary Art in Antwerp, Board Member, and Chair of the Museum Watch Committee of CIMAM.

Moderated by José-Carlos Mariátegui, independent curator and lecturer of Governance of Digital Markets and Technologies in Europe at Luiss Guido Carli University, Rome.

CIMAM 2022 Rapid Response Webinars are made possible with support from the Getty Foundation through its Connecting Professionals/Sharing Expertise initiative.
