Want to host a CIMAM Annual Conference?

CIMAM calls its members to apply to host its Annual Conference in 2022 and 2023.

If you are a CIMAM member and would like to welcome the 2022 or 2023 CIMAM Annual Conference, you can now apply to become the host of one of the most expected professional meetings on the international contemporary art museum agenda.

Hosting CIMAM's Annual Conference is a unique opportunity to present your institution to prominent opinion leaders, introduce the artistic environment where it coexists, and the city that contextualizes it.

CIMAM has organized more than 50 annual conferences in over 30 different cities since its founding in 1962, making it a regular event on modern and contemporary art professionals' agendas.

The Annual Conference consists of a three-day program with keynote and perspective lectures, round tables, workshops, and visits to contemporary art museums and other institutions in the host city.

This quality content agenda offers outstanding value for attendees, and from 2021, CIMAM introduces the hybrid format allowing virtual attendance for reasons of accessibility. This is an opportunity to invite a wider audience of professionals to take part in the discussions.

If you wish to apply, please read the guidelines and submit your application. The last day to apply is Wednesday 30 June 2021.
