Thank You and Happy New Year!

Season Greetings from Mami Kataoka 2020. Message from "STARS: Six Contemporary Artists from Japan to the World," Mori Art Museum, Tokyo. Takashi Murakami, Pop Up Flower, 2020

Dear members, and patrons of CIMAM,

It is an honour to address you at the end of my first year as President of CIMAM.

This year has been a challenge for all the professional community dedicated to modern and contemporary art museums. There are new initiatives that started in 2020, and I want to thank the CIMAM board members for their intense implication.

Thank you also to all of you, the members of CIMAM, for contributing with your expertise and professionalism, and with the inspiration that helps us develop CIMAM’s mission and profession more satisfactorily.

And above all, I want to express our special thanks and gratitude to our patrons. Without them, all this would not be possible. Thank you sincerely for your trust and commitment to CIMAM.

I conclude with a message of optimism, hope, and good wishes for you all in this new year. Let’s stay together.
