The wireless SailTimer Wind Instrument™
$349.99 on Sale Now
With the holiday shopping season approaching, we are pleased to announce that the new 2016 version of the wireless, solar-powered SailTimer Wind Instrument™ is on sale for $349.99 US. That is an incredible price for a masthead anemometer, especially one with so many innovations.
The sale only lasts through Thanksgiving weekend (or while supplies last). On December 1st, the cost will rise to the regular retail price again. If you are in Australia or New Zealand, you don't need to worry about American Thanksgiving, and can also get this special price until December 1st for summer sailing.
This is the first masthead anemometer with a digital compass built right in to the wind direction arrow. On a keelboat, it is easy to install because there are no wires to run down the mast. It is also portable and submersible -- so for the first time, dinghy sailors can have GPS chartplotting on a mobile device in a waterproof case and wind electonics too. That has never been possible before.
These are the first wind cups designed for sailboats (patent pending). They work like standard wind cups when upright, but change into propellers when you are sailing along heeled over, to maintain accuracy.
The 2016 Wind Instrument also adds new features including an off-switch for storage in the off-season, an LED on-light, and an incredibly thin new tail design.
