*Another Option for Worship*

If you are unable to be outside for worship in the parking lot, we now have another option for those who would like to worship in person. The service will be broadcast in the parking lot on an FM station so you may remain in your car while still taking part. The parking lot parallel to the buildings will be reserved for those who wish to use this option and a sign at the entrance to that lot will indicate the FM station to which you should dial your radio.
Good Friday Service

An interactive Good Friday Service will be emailed to each member prior to Friday, April 2.

Pastor Search Committee meets with Baptist Women In Ministry’s Meredith Stone

Parkway’s Pastor Search Committee met March 21 via Zoom with the Rev. Meredith Stone, executive director of Baptist Women in Ministry and received updates from committee members.

Stone provided insights on conducting a search that would appeal equally to male and female candidates and assured the search committee she would refer highly-qualified candidates to Parkway. Since the last Pastor Search Committee meeting, members had networking conversations with Cooperative Baptist Fellowship and American Baptist Churches USA leaders and posted the position on all available job sites across moderate Baptist life, including moderate seminaries.

The applicant pool is growing rapidly with more resumes arriving daily.

Each week many of us stay in touch with one another and review the needs for prayer during our Midweek Prayer Service. We have a new link for that call and I hope you will be able to join us each Wednesday. Some of us join at 6;00 p.m. for informal conversation. Others join at 6:30 p.m.when the service actually begins.

Because of Spring Break for Gwinnett and Fulton Counties the week of April 5, we will not have the Wednesday Night Zoom Bible Study on April 7.  Bible Study will resume on April 14.

Here is the new information, including the option for adding to your calendar:
