Thank you so much for everything! The gift you sent us when we first arrived back in the USA and for helping with the masks, we are so appreciative.  Your church has always been a blessing to us personally and to the House of Hope.

We love you.

For the time being the church office is closed to the public. If you have any needs with which your church can help, call the pastor's cellphone, 404-202-9085. There is a group of volunteers who are willing to assist with errands for those who cannot leave their homes.
There will be no public services at the church. In a separate email each week you will receive orders of worship for The Beginning and Morning Worship and instructions for accessing online portions of those services.

To make your contribution to the ministries of the church, please either mail in your offering or send it through your bank. You may also bring it by the church and place it in the locked mailbox outside the office door.

The Ladies Bible study group is meeting via Zoom each Tuesday at 11:00 a.m.

They are currently reading "Fervent: A Woman's Battle Plan to Serious, Specific, and Strategic Prayer" by Priscilla Shirer.

Suzanne Skeen is leading the Bible Study.

In an effort to approximate our Wednesday evening dinner and Bible study, we have set up a Zoom call, beginning at 6:00 p.m. for those who want to join us for dinner conversation. Anyone who only wants to join us for Bible study can check in around 6:30 p.m.
Zoom is a free app but you have to download from wherever you get apps for your device. We recommend downloading as soon as possible because you will have to establish a free account in order to join the meeting.
If you are a regular attendee on Wednesday evening you should have received an invitation to join the meeting. If you have not received the email, and would like to join us, email Angie Smith at and she will reply with the needed information.

Called Church Conference
Wednesday, September 9

During this extended period of virtual meetings, our congregation has made several important decisions affecting our life together, including the calling of Glenn Gray as our Minister to Students, the approval of our FY 2020-21 budget, and the allocation of $205,000 for renovations and capital improvements.

The next major decision that we would normally face would be the election of new deacons. However, because these connections between servant-leaders and members are so vital and in the interest of continuity of ministry during this unusual period, the current deacons have all agreed, if approved by the congregation, to extend their terms of service for an additional year.

To this end, there will be a called conference during our Zoom Midweek Service at 6:30 p.m. on September 9 for the purpose of approving this exception to our policies and procedures.
