I’ve been finishing up last minute class samples this week for the new classes I’m teaching at Stitches West next weekend. Not so much because I’m behind, but I just can’t seem to stop myself!
I’m pretty excited about both the shadow knitting class (sold out!) and the reversible class. I taught both at my LYS a few weeks ago and since then I’ve been making one cowl after another! The photos here are the most recent ones. I’ll have them all up on ravelry after the show.
Want to give the technique a try? This is one of my favorites of the stitch patterns I’ll be teaching. It’s striped on one side and solid on the reverse.
Lined and Solid worked over an odd number of sts
Notes: This pattern creates a solid on one side and horizontal stripes on the other side. Cast on color will be the solid side.
Cast on an odd number of stitches with dark and slide.

Are you going to Stitches West? It’s in Santa Clara Feb 23rd to the 26th. Please drop me a line if you plan to be there and maybe we can arrange to meet!
Till next week,
Enjoy your knitting!
PS if you have a local yarn shop near you and would like to see me teach there, please let your LYS owner know. I have a downloadable brochure of class listings on my website.
