NEWS & INFORMATION
VETERANS DAY PROGRAM
On Thursday, grades K-12 had the privilege to hear from U.S. Navy Veteran Adrian Marsh at our special Veterans Day chapel program this morning. This year's program was a very special one as members of the Honor Guard performed the traditional 13 folds of the American flag, the Knights Band performed the "National Anthem" and our Elementary students sang a thank you song to our honored guests. ⁣

Thank you to our four special guests for your service. We were honored to have these four men lead our Veterans Day program on Thursday:

Adrian Marsh (US Navy)
Major David Caldwell (US Army)
Petty Officer Second Class Roger Rabb (US Navy)
Lieutenant Fred Adomat (US Coast Guard)

THE BIG DAY OF GIVING IS SUNDAY, NOVEMBER 14
Knoxville Christian friends and families, we want to remind you about our annual Big Day of Giving event, which will take place THIS Sunday, November 14th, 2021. Each school year, every Knoxville Christian family makes a commitment to give $500 back to the school. The Big Day of Giving will be the perfect opportunity for families to fulfill some or all of that commitment for the school year. Your gift will be added to our Annual Fund, which helps to bridge the gap between tuition received versus total operating expenses. To donate, visit the link below.

TEACHER APPRECIATION WEEK IS NOVEMBER 15 - 19
We are excited to celebrate Teacher Appreciation Week November 15th-19th! You are invited to join us in honoring our hard-working teachers throughout the week! While participation is optional, we have multiple suggestions on how you can encourage those who give so much to our students each day.

Attached is a list of ideas for items to give your teachers each day, but don't feel limited to choose from the list - feel free to come up with your own ideas! These gifts do not have to perfectly align with the “theme of the day” depending on when your child has electives throughout the week. The goal is to show how much we appreciate all they do.

Thanks in advance for your support in encouraging our teachers!
