Engineering: Summer camp uses LEGOs to build skills
Construction activity around VCU is not all that unusual but recently at the VCU Carver Community Center, the builders were children and their projects, created out of LEGO® bricks and gears, were designed to help them build new skills as they learned about engineering. Read more.
Engineering: 2014 Senior Design Expo
In April, VCU School of Engineering students and industry leaders convened at the Science Museum of Virginia for the 2014 Senior Design Expo. More than 40 senior design projects were displayed. Presentations included a remote-operated robot hand, a mass-transit system powered by hydroelectricity and even a fusion reactor. Read more.
