Allied Health: VCU a partner in literacy center
The saying it takes a village to raise a child has been put into action in an initiative to improve the literacy of the youth in Petersburg, Va. The William Nelson Bland Literacy Center has been established from a partnership between Metropolitan Baptist Church, Virginia State University and Virginia Commonwealth University. Read more.

U.S. News and World Report named Virginia Commonwealth University a 2014 “Up and Comer” among national universities in its annual Best Colleges rankings. VCU ranked 14th among national universities, tying with Boston University, Carnegie Mellon University, Tulane University and six others. Read more.
