Support nursing students’ global initiatives

For the first time, the School of Nursing is embarking on a five-day crowdfunding campaign to benefit student global initiatives. The campaign runs Nov. 11-15, with a goal of $5,000. All funds directly support the school’s two global initiative programs: an annual service learning trip to Guatemala   and a summer exchange program with the University of Córdoba in Spain . The School of Nursing would like to offer these opportunities to as many students as possible for its benefits of greater global awareness, new perspectives on nursing education and health care, educational development and personal growth.  Check our Facebook page the week of Nov. 11 to learn more about these programs and how you can help us reach our $5,000 goal.

If you’d like to participate, contact Amber Yancey (B.S.’07/H&S), alumni relations and stewardship specialist, at (804) 828-2993 or abyancey@vcu.edu.
