Notice something different about this month's enewsletter? The VCU and MCV Alumni Associations are pleased to unveil their new brand, part of the  part of Virginia Commonwealth University's integrated marketing campaign. The new brand mark includes the university seal, which pays tribute to the university founding school's, the Medical College of Virginia and the Richmond Professional Institute. Read more.

H&S: Alumna's poetry nominated for Discovery Award

Congratulations to Diana Woodcock (B.S.’74/H&S; M.F.A.’04/H&S), VCU alumna and assistant professor of English at VCUQatar, whose first full-length poetry collection, “Swaying on the Elephant’s Shoulders,” has been nominated for a Kate Tufts Discovery Award. Read more.

Homecoming 2013

The date is set! VCU Homecoming 2013 is scheduled for Saturday, Feb. 2. The weekend is full of exciting and spirited events, including an inaugural Homecoming Parade, socials, Rams Rally Point and men’s basketball vs. the Fordham Rams. Read more.
